Bovale

The term "Bovale" identifies two varieties, Sardinian Bovale and Spanish Bovale, also called Great Bovale, both arrived in Sardinia from the Iberian Peninsula around 1300.
The varietal wine of Bovale is characterized by a good structure, polyphenolic richness and smooth tannins.
Since 1976, this varietal is enhanced by the DOC Campidano Terralba or Terralba, from the most important village where it grows and gives its best quality.
